I loved Susie, liked Jackie, and I couldn’t stand a single second of Sophie Lennon. But Lenny Bruce is my favorite character. I like this Lenny much better than the real one.
The best scene in the entire series is when Lenny and Midge are talking on the stage at Carnegie Hall. “If you blow this, Midge, I swear… you will break my fucking heart.”
I assume it’s no accident that her name is also the name of a tiny, stinging, inescapable insect. (I watched exactly one episode five years ago and all I remember about was how insufferable it was.)

Great observations. I was never able to watch Gilmore Girls past S1E2 because of the exhausting rapid fire ping pong conversations.

Glad I found this article, I thought I was the problem. It's exhausting! I felt asleep during an episode of S4 and woke up with high blood pressure!
I still enjoyed it, I laughed more than one good laugh; the matchmaking scenes are hilarious!
