Seeding your story with clues to set up twists is a good idea. But you need to be subtle about it.
I believe in the original screenplay, Becky DOES toss Hunter off the tower, then rides the drone, a'la The Green Goblin, beating Hunter to the bottom to watch her go splat. End scene.
This would be a vast improvement.
